11.05.05 - The Foresters hosted a tri-match on the final weekend of their regular season and split a pair of matches.  HU knocked off Indiana Tech 3-1 in the first and fell 3-0 to Indiana Wesleyan in the second.

Against Indiana Tech, the Foresters took the first two games 30-23 and 30-24.  The Warriors battled back and won game three 30-23, but HU closed the door on the comeback with a 30-21 win in game four.  Amy Wilson had a good all-around game with a team-high 13 kills and four aces, as well as 16 digs.  Stephanie Stearns was all over the court racking up a team-leading 20 digs. Kellie Hanson dished out 36 assists and Kayley Cervenka had four blocks to lead the team

In their second match, the Foresters fell 30-26, 30-23, 30-26 to the Wildcats of Indiana Wesleyan.  HU matched IWU defensively, but allowed too many free ball opportunities with their inconsistent attack.  Wilson again led HU with nine kills, 17 digs and three aces.  Cervenka added six kills and a team-high three blocks.  Hanson had 29 assists in the match.

The Foresters conclude their regular season with a record of 18-12.  HU moves on to the MCC Tournament this week where they will travel to #4-seeded St. Francis on Wednesday, November 9 at 7:00 p.m. for first round action.
