11.20.06 -  The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the fall sport Daktronics All-America Scholar-Athlete awards for the 2006-07 season with nine Foresters among the list of honorees.

Two women's cross country team members, Molly Andrews (Greenwood, IN, Greenwood HS) and Ashley Buck (Fort Wayne, IN, Homestead HS) were included among the list of honorees.  Women's soccer goalkeeper, Robyn Althoff (Stevensvillle, MI, Lakeshore HS), and soccer defenders, Ashley Gonterman (Roanoke, IN, Homestead HS), Hannah Kaufman (Ada, MI, Forest Hills Central HS) and Rachel Warrick (Wooster, OH, Triway HS) received recognition, and three volleyball players, Heidi Christner (Shipshewana, IN, Westview HS), Kellie Hanson (Mishawaka, IN, Penn HS) and Stephanie Stearns (New Castle, IN, New Castle Chrysler HS), earned the honor.

Recipients of the award must have at least a junior academic standing and a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5.
