09.20.06 - Although the Foresters are 10-4 on the season, they dropped to a disappointing 0-3 in conference play with a 22-30, 30-24, 25-30, 21-30 loss to the University of St. Francis.  HU, which has been plagued by inconsistent passing and hitting in MCC matches, was tripped up again by their Achilles heel.

Early in each of the four games, the Foresters dug themselves a hole with their poor passing and hitting miscues.  In the second game, HU was able to overcome an 18-11 deficit behind some solid play from senior outside hitters, Renee Biberstine and Amy Wilson. But that was where it ended.  The Cougars put away the match by winning the next two games.

Wilson and Biberstine led the Foresters with 17 and 13 kills respectively.  Wilson also added two blocks and 15 digs.  Alyssa Schroeder finished with 42 assists and Stephanie Stearns led the team with 30 digs.
