10.10.07 - A poor performance on the road by the Foresters led to a disappointing conference loss to Bethel College in three straight (30-23, 30-16, 30-27).

The Pilots frontline came up with numerous blocks to keep HU's offense from getting into any kind of rhythm. On the other side of the net, the Foresters finished the match without a single block of their own allowing Bethel to run their offense without contest.

Brittney Smelser led the Foresters with 19 kills in the match. Alyssa Schroeder had 38 assists, 10 digs and two aces and Stephanie Stearns added 16 digs.

The loss drops the women to 16-6 on the season and 3-2 in the MCC.
