| 10.23.07 - In
Mid-Central Conference action, the Foresters cruised past Grace
College winning 30-27, 30-15, 30-22 to move to 5-2 in the MCC
standings. The Lancers put up their biggest fight in game one, but HU
held on and then took care of business in the final two games to get
the sweep. Amanda Meyers had a
big night at the net leading the Foresters with 18 kills. Alyssa
Schroeder chipped in 43 assists, three blocks, 12 digs and two aces.
Brittney Smelser added 12 kills, 11 digs and two aces and Stephanie
Stearns had a team-high 23 digs.
With the win, the
Foresters improve to 19-6 on the season.
