09.05.07 - After a poor start to the match, the Foresters showed signs of life, but the Taylor University Trojans reclaimed the momentum in time for the 30-16, 24-30, 26-30, 22-30 win.

In game one, HU struggled to get anything going as they managed just 16 points in the game, but game two was a complete turnaround.  The Foresters found their offensive rhythm and were able to take Taylor out of its game to even the match at a game each.

HU carried its solid play into game three which led to a 20-16 lead, but then tentative play enable the Trojans to get back in the game.  Taylor out-scored the Foresters 14-6 down the stretch for the win and then rode their momentum to the win in game four.

Brittney Smelser led HU with 15 kills.  Kayley Cervenka had three blocks, Stephanie Stearns had 26 digs and Alyssa Schroeder had 41 assists and three aces.
