- Taking a break from conference play, the Foresters swept Anderson
in three games, 26-24, 25-21, 25-22.
HU led a balanced attack with Brittney Smelser and Amanda Meyers
each finishing with nine kills while Courtney Berger chipped in
seven. Smelser also recorded eight digs, two blocks and two aces.
Alyssa Schroeder dished out 31 assists.
"We are starting to play more consistently together, both
offensively and on defense," commented Coach Schroeder.
"Hopefully we will continue to hit our peak come tournament time."
The Foresters move to 15-13. They play 20th-ranked Taylor on
Wednesday. |
