- Having lost to Indiana University East earlier this season, the
Foresters were hoping for a different outcome but unfortunately fell
short losing in four games, 25-23, 20-25, 15-25, 19-25.
Things started out well for the Foresters as they won the first game
but then the Red Wolves took control at the net winning three
straight games to seal the victory. HU was led by Brittney
Smelser with 18 kills, 13 digs and an ace. Amanda Meyers and Stacie
Hoffman chipped in seven and six kills respectively. Alyssa
Schroeder dished out 34 assists and had two blocks. Katie Bowers and
Megan Smith each recorded 13 digs.
With this loss, the Foresters drop to 15-15. HU plays host to
Saint Francis on Thursday in their last regular season conference
match. |
