11.05.09 - For the second time this season, the Foresters outlasted the Cougars of Saint Francis in five games, 26-28, 25-23, 23-25, 28-26, 15-11.

On a night when the seniors were honored for their contributions to the HU program, it only seemed fitting that they led the team to a hard fought victory.  Brittney Smelser had a team-high 16 kills, 20 digs and two aces.  Alyssa Schroeder dished out 59 assists and recorded four kills.  The Forester attack was in full force as four other players finished with double-digit kills.  Denise Lehman had 14 kills while Courtney Berger, Amanda Meyers and Stacie Hoffman finished with 12, 11 and 10 respectively.

With this win, the Foresters move to 16-15, 3-5 in MCC action.  HU hosts the University of Michigan Dearborn tonight at 7:00 p.m. to wrap up their regular season play.
