- The Marian College Knights (11-3, 3-2) used a stifling defense
to rout the Huntington College Foresters (6-10, 1-4) 70-48.
The Knights jumped out to a 9-0 lead and never looked back.
Marian shot 47% from the field in the first half and held the
Foresters to just 33% shooting on their way to a 34-21 lead at the
half. The Knights then scored the first 12 points of the
second half to put the game out of reach. Meghan Pilarski took
game-high honors with 13 points for the Knights. Allison
Harris and Kristi Koselke added 11 and 10 respectively. The
Foresters were led Amy Berry’s 12 points. Tiffany Malfait
chipped in 10 off the bench.
