12.07.05 - The Foresters scored the first four points of the game and never trailed in their 69-54 victory over Grace College.  The Lancers kept HU within striking distance for the first 12 minutes of the game and were within two at 20-18 following a Teresa Clark jumper with 7:52 to go in the half. The Foresters then put together an 8-1 run capped by a Holly Harris trey to put HU up 28-19.  Grace's Amber Riffell then scored on back-to-back possessions to cut it to 28-23, but the Foresters scored eight unanswered points to take their largest lead of the half at 36-23.  The Lancers finished the half with a 6-0 run to cut HU's lead to 36-29 at the break.

A 10-2 Forester spurt to open the second half gave HU a commanding 15-point lead and Grace could not get back within single digits the remainder of the game.  HU held the Lancers to 27% shooting in the second half to put Grace away.  Amy Berry took game-high honors with 18 points and added four rebounds and four assists.  Janna Knisely finished with 14 points, five rebounds and two blocks, Betsey Bean had 13 points and seven rebounds, and Jessica Ramey was one assist shy of a double-double with 11 points and nine assists.  Amanda Downing led the Lancers with 14 points and 10 boards.  The women get back to .500 on the year at 5-5 with the win and move to 2-2 in the MCC.
