02.13.08 - The Foresters (14-11, 6-7) used a 16-3 run to start the second half and turned a 10-point half-time lead into a 71-47 rout over Spring Arbor University (11-17, 4-10). The win ended HU's four-game losing skid in conference play.

Spring Arbor scored the first two points of the game, but it was the only time the Cougars saw the lead. The Foresters put up the next 11 points to take control early.  Spring Arbor battled back within four at 15-11 midway through the half and trimmed a 10-point deficit down to 23-19 with just under four minutes to play.  The Foresters out-scored Spring Arbor 9-3 down the stretch to take a 32-22 advantage to the locker room.

Huntington then put the game away with a 16-3 run over the first five minutes of the second half as the lead grew to 48-25.  A Courtney Beerbower putback at the 4:21 mark gave the Foresters their biggest lead of the game at 65-38 and they finished with the 24-point victory.

Jenna Donaldson took game-high honors with 20 points for Huntington.  She also added eight rebounds two blocks and three steals.  Joining Donaldson in double figures was Erica Yost, who chipped in 19 points and six assists off the bench, and Beerbower who finished with 16 points and seven rebounds.  Kristen Miller passed the Cougars with a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds.
