02.16.08 - The Foresters spotted the NAIA 12th-ranked Indiana Wesleyan Wildcats a 10-0 lead before they finally got on the board and were never able to recover as HU fell 73-55 to IWU.

The Foresters, who were playing without starting point guard, Lauren Davenport, appeared rattled throughout the first half and could not find any rhythm at the offensive end.  HU got as close a 16-10 near the midpoint of the half, but headed to the locker room down 35-23 after shooting just 21% from the field.

The Foresters cut the deficit to 10 on three occasions early in the second half, but a 14-2 run IWU run gave the Wildcats a 22-point advantage with 12:25 to play.  HU battled back within 14 three times down the stretch, but could get no closer.

Jenna Donaldson took game-high honors with 19 points for HU.  She was joined in double figures by Erica Yost with 13 points and Courtney Beerbower with 10.  Brooke Amstutz led IWU with 18 point and Kayla Thompson chipped in 14 points and eight assists.
