9.18.04 - The Foresters out-shot the Hanover College Panthers 14-2 and ran away with the 5-1 win.  HC polished off a well played first half with a goal in the 37th minute by Sarah Kaufman, assisted by Mindy Sincler, and another in the 43rd minute by Heather O'Keefe, assisted by Kaufman. The Foresters' sloppy play to start the second half gave Hanover a glimmer of hope as it allowed the Panthers to score a goal in the 60th minute. HC quickly righted the ship eight minutes later as Sincler restored the two-goal margin with a free kick from 25 yards out. The Foresters cruised from there with a goal in the 74th minute by Joy Bamford and a final goal in the 88th minute from Heather O'Keefe, on an assist by Melissa McFadden. "We were able to move the ball around well today and that gave us a lot of opportunities," said Coach Datema.  "We lost our focus for a few minutes there in the second half, but the team responded well."  The Foresters even their record at 3-3 with the win.
