09.16.06 - Spring Arbor University proved to be worthy of its #19 ranking in the latest NAIA poll as they routed the Foresters 7-1 in their MCC opener.

The Cougars took charge of the game with five goals in the first half and added two more in the second. The Foresters got their only goal of the game to make it 1-1 early in the first half. The Spring Arbor defenders failed to clear a cross and the ball bounced off a Cougar defender and into the net.

With the loss, the women fall to 2-5 on the season and 0-1 in the conference.
