College scored a goal in both halves and held the Foresters scoreless
to hand HU a 2-0 loss in MCC action.
The Maple Leafs got on board with a
direct kick just outside the box with two minutes left until
intermission. They finally put the game out of reach with a
second goal with seven minutes to play.
Although HU created 12 shots on goal to
just five for Goshen, the Maple Leafs out-hustled the Foresters in
the 50/50 battle, which allowed them to control the run of play.
The loss drops the women to 2-6 overall and 0-2 in the MCC. |
