10.17.07 - The Foresters recorded three first half goals to cruise to the 4-1 victory over Bethel College in their regular season finale.

Sarah Kaufman quickly gave the Foresters the lead with a goal off a Brittany Carlson assist just over a minute into the contest.  A goal by Bethany McGraw and a Bethel own goal gave HU the 3-0 lead at the break.

In the 63rd minute, McGraw took a pass from Brenda Bair and sent it home to give the Foresters a 4-0 lead.  The Pilots finally put one in at the 81:35 mark for the 4-1 final.

The win gives the Foresters three victories in their last four matches and moves their record to 9-8-1 overall.

HU wrapped up the conference schedule with a 3-5 record, giving them a sixth place finish and the #6 seed in the upcoming Mid-Central Conference tournament.  In their first round match-up, the Foresters will travel to Fort Wayne on Saturday, October 20 to take on the #3 seed St. Francis Cougars.  The match will be played at D'Arcy Stadium at 2:00 p.m.
