09.11.07 - A Grace College goal in the final ten minutes of regulation broke a 2-2 half-time tie and was enough to edge the Foresters in their MCC opener 3-2.

Grace jumped out to a two-goal lead in the first 12 minutes of play, but HU scored back-to-back goals in the 21st and 23rd minutes of the first half to even the match.  Emily Walker sent home a Stephanie Spitnale assist to get the Foresters on the board and Sarah Kaufman got the unassisted equalizer two minutes later.

Both defenses settled down in the second half, but it was the Lancers that finally broke through with the game-winner in the 81st minute.

The loss drops the women to 1-3-1overall and 0-1 in the MCC.
