09.15.07 - Two first half goals proved to be enough offense for the Foresters as they held on for the 2-1 victory over Heidelberg College.

Bethany McGraw scored a goal and assisted on Sarah Kaufman's score in the first half to give HU some breathing room. Heidelberg pulled within one less than two minutes into the second half. The Student Princes kept the pressure on throughout the remainder of the half, but HU's defense was up to the task and keeper Emily Walker came up with an important save with three minutes left to preserve the win.

The Foresters generated 16 shots on goal to 13 for Heidelberg and Walker finished with seven saves overall.

The victory moves the women to 2-4-1 on the season.
