looked bright for the Foresters with a goal two and half minutes
into the match, but it was the last time they would score as Taylor
University handed them a 4-1 loss.
HU's Stephanie Spitnale took a pass from
Bethany McGraw in the opening minutes and drove it past the Trojan
keeper for the 1-0 lead. The Trojans answered back with the
equalizer at the 10:10 mark and the half ended in the 1-1 tie.
In the second half, it was all
Taylor. The Trojans took the lead for good on a goal in the 58th
minute and sealed the victory with two more scores at the 72:33 and
76:20 marks.
With the loss, HU falls to 6-7-1 on the season and
1-4 in the MCC. |
