10.08.08 - After owning a 2-1 lead early in the second half, the Foresters allowed the University of St. Francis three second half goals and fell 4-2 to the Cougars.

St. Francis took the early lead with a score six minutes into the match, but HU countered with an unassisted goal by Brittany Carlson at the 17:35 mark.  The score remained 1-1 at intermission.

The Foresters grabbed their first lead of the match on a Stephanie Spitnale score two minutes into the second half.  Four minutes later St. Francis got the equalizer and then took the lead for good with its third goal at the 57:39 mark.  The Cougars effectively put the game out of reach with their final score with 13 minutes remaining in the contest.

St. Francis kept Forester keeper Emily Walker very busy.  She recorded 18 saves in the match as the Cougars outshot HU 36-4.

With the loss, the Foresters drop to 5-5-1 on the season and 0-2 in conference play.
