09.06.08 - The Foresters grabbed a 2-1 halftime lead and traded goals in the second half to edge Bluffton University 3-2 for their first win of the season.

Bethany McGraw got things started with a goal off an assist from Brenda Bair nine minutes into the match. The Beavers got the equalizer at the 21:34 mark, but McGraw answered with her second score of the half three minutes later.

Eleven minutes into the second half, HU's Stephanie Spitnale netted the eventual game winner. Bluffton pulled within one with a goal in the 79th minute, but the Forester defense was solid down the stretch.

The win moves the women to 1-3 on the year.
