10.07.09 - The Foresters ended their scoring drought but still came up short against the Cougars of Saint Francis losing 2-1.

The Foresters held Saint Francis scoreless through much of the first half.  With less than two minutes until halftime Saint Francis slipped one past HU Keeper Amy Tavierne to go into intermission with the momentum and a one point lead.  The Cougars attacked again at the 50:40 mark to go up 2-0.  With just over four minutes left in the contest Justine Jost found the back of the net on an assist by China White, ending HU's 5-game scoring drought.  Saint Francis outshot HU 38-7.  Tavierne recorded ten saves on the day.

With this loss, the Foresters drop to 3-9 on the year, 0-2 in conference play.
