- The Foresters brought their fall season to a
close with a sixth place finish in the MCC
Conference Tournament. Indiana Wesleyan
University repeated as tournament champions.
Kyleigh Gast, who had advanced to the semi-finals
at #3 singles, was ousted from the tournament 6-0,
6-1 by IWU's Sarah Bauss, and Taylor University's
Kelly Pence knocked out Jessica Deter 6-0, 6-2 at
#4 singles. “For being such an
inexperienced team, I felt we did as well as could
be expected,” said Coach Turner. “With a
good recruiting year, we should be fine for next
year.”
