03.23.05 - The Foresters faced NAIA 6th-ranked Embry-Riddle in their spring season opener and fell 7-2. The Eagles left no doubt in the seven matches they won as they gave up two or less games in all but one of them. HC's Kyleigh Gast took four games from Li Samios-Uy at #2 singles in the Foresters' best match of the day. HC got their two wins on forfeits as the Eagles had just five athletes available to play. With the loss the women fall to 4-9 on the year.
