- The Foresters dropped an 8-1 decision
to host Olivet College. HC's lone win came at #2 singles where senior
Kyleigh Gast came from behind in the second set to defeat Mallory
Bailey 6-3, 7-6.
In other singles matches, Stacy Plett fell 6-1, 6-1at #1, and Jessica
Deter went down 6-2, 6-3 at #3. At #4 Dawn Lauer put up a fight
but succumbed in straight sets 7-5, 6-3. Rachel Boersma fell
6-2, 6-2 at #5 and at #6 Katie Sprunger lost 6-0, 6-3. The
Foresters lost all three doubles matches by identical 8-5 scores. With the loss,
the women fall to 4-10 on the year. |
