- The Foresters (6-2) posted their second
straight shutout with a 9-0 victory over Defiance College.
HU swept the doubles
with relative ease. Stephanie Strong and Raelyn Althoff won 8-4
at #1, Kendra Ganz and Jessica Deter dropped just one game at #2 and
Katie Sprunger and Liz Hull got the 8-2 victory at #3.
All of the singles
matches were won in straight sets. Strong went 6-2, 6-3 at #1.
Althoff had no trouble at #2 posting a 6-1, 6-0 victory. Ganz
won 6-3, 6-0 at #3. Deter had the tightest match of the day winning
6-1, 7-5 at #4. Sprunger got the 6-1, 6-0 win at #5 and Liz Hull
won 6-1, 6-1 at #6. |
