10.08.07 - The Foresters closed out their regular season schedule
on a high note with a commanding 8-1 victory over Anderson University.
Stephanie Strong and Raelyn Althoff combined for the 8-2 win at #1
doubles and Liz Hull and Katie Sprunger won by the identical score at
#3.
HU swept singles
winning five of the six matches in straight sets. Strong
outlasted Rachel Makin 1-6, 6-4, 10-4 for the win at #1. Althoff
went 6-2, 6-2 at #2. Kendra Ganz got the 6-1, 6-1 victory at #3.
Jessica Deter won 6-1, 6-2 at #4. Sprunger was a 6-3, 6-2 winner at #5
and Erica Abel went 7-6, 6-1 at #6 to complete the sweep.
With the win, the
Foresters finish the regular season at 11-4.
