09.18.07 - The Foresters had little trouble with the University of
St. Francis as they rolled over the Cougars 9-0 without dropping a
set.
The #1 doubles team of Stephanie
Strong and Raelyn Althoff and #3 doubles team of Liz Hull and Katie
Sprunger both won eight straight while Kendra Ganz and Jessica Deter
got the 8-2 victory at #2 doubles.
In singles play,
Strong won 6-2, 6-2 at #1. Althoff and Ganz both won 6-3, 6-4 at
#2 and #3 respectively. Deter went 6-1, 6-0 at #4, Sprunger won 6-4,
6-2 at #5 and Erica Abel got the 6-0, 6-2 victory at #6.
With the win, HU improves to 7-2
overall and 4-1 in the MCC. |
