09.27.07 - The Foresters (8-3) had little trouble with Indiana
Tech finishing the match with a perfect 9-0 victory over the Warriors.
The Foresters dropped just one set on their way to the win. At
#1 singles, HU's Raelyn Althoff recovered from a 6-3 loss in set one
to pull off the 7-5, 10-3 win. Kendra Ganz and Liz Hull both won
6-0, 6-2 at #2 and #6 singles respectively. Jessica Deter was a 6-2,
6-2 winner at #3. Katie Sprunger went 6-0, 6-1 at #4 for the win
and Erica Abel got a 6-1, 6-0 victory at #5.
In doubles action,
Ganz and Deter teamed for the 8-2 win at #1. Hull and Althoff
won eight straight games without a loss at #2 and Sprunger and Kyla
Zartman
went 8-2 for the win at #3. |
