- The Foresters completed their MCC
conference schedule with a 7-2 win over the University of St.
Francis giving them a fourth place finish with a 5-3 record.
In doubles' play,
Stephanie Strong and Raelyn Althoff teamed for the 8-6 victory at #1
and the duo of Liz Hull and Kristen Lahman earned the 8-4 win at #3.
HU then won five
of the six singles' matches with each win coming in straight sets.
Haley Neiderhiser went 6-4, 7-5 for the win at #1. Althoff was a 6-1,
7-6
winner at #2. Hull got the 6-1, 6-3 victory at #4. Erica Abel recorded the 6-3, 6-3
win at #5, and Kyla Zartman went 6-3, 6-4 at #6.
With the win, the
women improve to 8-4 on the season with one regular season match
remaining against Anderson University on Tuesday, October 7 at 4:00
