- After losing her first singles' match
in the ITA Regional championship, Raelyn Althoff put together three
solid matches to win the consolation bracket. She recorded
wins of 6-1, 6-1, 6-3, 6-4 and 7-6, 7-6.
In championship
bracket play, Gonzalo Vivas fell 6-4, 6-3 in the quarterfinals and
he and his brother Martin, lost 8-1 in doubles' action. On the
women's side, Stephanie Strong and Althoff weren't able to
successfully defend their doubles' title from a year ago as they
fell 8-4 in the second round. Haley Neiderhiser and Liz Hull
also went down in second round doubles' play losing 8-0. |
