10.10.09 - Having advanced three singles players and two sets of doubles players to the semifinals, the Foresters place fifth in the MCC tourney.  Indiana Wesleyan won the team title with 21 points followed by Taylor with 18.  For complete results, see MCC Women's Tournament Results.  

In doubles' play, at #1 Haley Neiderhiser and Raelyn Althoff knocked off Grace 8-6 to advance to the championship match where they fell to top seeded Taylor 8-6.  In other doubles action, the Erica Abel/Kristen Lahman combo fell to two seed Taylor 8-2.

In singles' action, Neiderhiser was handed a 6-2, 6-1 loss by Taylor at #1singles.  Althoff was downed by Indiana Wesleyan 6-2, 7-5 at #2.  At #5, Abel lost to top seeded Indiana Wesleyan 6-2, 6-0.

Nedierhiser was named to the MCC All Conference Team for the second time in as many years. Althoff was also named to the MCC All Conference Team.  She is a four-time all-conference player.
