- Playing in rainy
conditions, the Foresters dropped to 3-3 in conference play after
succumbing to Grace College 6-3.
The Foresters
recorded three wins on the day. Haley Neiderhiser and Raelyn Althoff
got things started on a positive note by winning at #1 doubles 8-5.
Unfortunately this was the only Forester doubles win of the day.
Kelsey Mark and Joni Holsem (#2) and Erica Abel and Kristen Lahman
(#3) fell 8-3 and 8-4 respectively.
Neiderhiser outlasted her
opponent by winning a tough three setter at #1 4-6, 6-1, 10-6.
Althoff picked up a win at #2, 6-3, 6-1. The Lancers took
control of the remaining singles with Mark falling 3-6, 1-6 at #3,
Lahman falling 4-6, 2-6 at #4, Abel falling 3-6, 0-6 at #5 and
Lauren Sunderman falling 0-6, 0-6 at #6.
The loss drops the Foresters to 4-4 in regular season play.
