2004-05 Season Outlook

The Foresters lost four of their top five players to graduation including MCC All-Conference player Becky Harness.  The team had a solid 2003-04 season going 4-3 in the conference and finishing 7-7 overall.  However, this year will be a different story as youth and inexperience will be the Foresters' makeup.

HC's top returnee is senior Stacy Plett.  Last season, Plett played #4 singles and #2 doubles.  She will definitely move up the ladder this year and will be vying for the top singles' position.

Also returning for the Foresters are senior Kyleigh Gast, junior Dawn Lauer, and sophomore Nikki Barger.  Gast should move into the #3 or #4 slot with Lauer and Barger at #5 and #6 respectively.

Freshmen Ashley Counts (Whiteland H.S.) and Jessica Deter (Bluffton H.S., Ohio) round out the 2004 roster.  Counts will battle Plett for the #1 spot while Deter and Gast will fight for the #3 position.
