A few words from the Business Faculty to
inquiring students (and their parents!)
Thank you for
considering Huntington.
“Where to go
to college?” can be a daunting question to many students. And paying for a
college education today is a significant family undertaking. Before
committing time and dollars to our particular school, you may understandably
want to know, “What can I hope to do with a Huntington University degree?” A
very fair question!
No one can
answer just what you will do with a degree from any school, but we can give
you an idea of what some Huntington graduates have done. Listen to the
words of a few:
Ryan
Groves ‘96
Sales Representative, Stripco Sales, Osceola, IN
“Huntington was such a
blessing in helping me grow professionally and as a person. Those who are
a part of the college truly do care about students, and I owe much of
where I am now to their concern for my future in a career, and as a
Christian.”
Jay
Weiseman ‘96
Credit Analyst at Lake City Bank, Warsaw, IN
“An education from Huntington
will give you confidence as you enter the work force. You will be
able to apply for a job knowing that you have what it takes to complete
almost any task. The professors at Huntington are more than willing to
assist you both inside the classroom and outside. Thanks to the small
size of the college, it is easy to receive personal instruction and
attention from a professor. Most importantly, you will become a stronger
person mentally, physically and spiritually.”
Anup
Sharma ‘96
Business Analyst, General Electric Capital,
Stamford CT.
“Huntington offers
what most schools do not--the ability to grow both academically and
spiritually.”
Susan
Sigworth ‘84
former Director of Communications,
Brotherhood Mutual Insurance, Ft. Wayne, IN
“My degree is more than a
piece of paper awarded for course completion. It represents a
life-changing experience, characterized by academic social, and spiritual
growth. During those four years, I enlarged my world view, established a
learning base, developed marketable skills, made lasting friendships, and
grew in faith.”
George Humbarger
Professor of Business,
Univ. of Indianapolis, IN
“It is not the ‘size’ of the
school, but ‘size’ of the learning experience that is important. I had a
‘giant’ educational experience at Huntington; who some would say
is ‘just another small Christian college.’ How wrong they are!”
