Bill Fisher
Dean of Christian Faith & Life
Campus Pastor

The Rev. Bill Fisher became Huntington University's dean of Christian faith & life in 1993. His responsibilities include assisting in overall administrative responsibilities as a member of the president's staff, giving oversight and vision to the spiritual formation program of the college, pastoring the community, supervising multiple professional staff and approximately 40 student leaders as well as teaching, counseling and leadership training.

In addition to his work at the University, Bill serves as the permanent part-time pastor of preaching and discipleship at First Baptist Church in Warren, Ind.

Over the past 15 years, he has averaged more than 30 speaking engagements per year in addition to his university and church responsibilities. Camps, conferences, retreats, seminars, churches, businesses, organizations, high schools and colleges are just some of places where he has spoken. To date, this has involved 25 states and nine foreign countries. Bill also has taught and co-taught a number of courses.

He is a member of several local and national organizations including the Association for Christians in Student Development, the Huntington County Ministerial Association and Project Evangelism.

Bill has a passion for missions and has led and been a part of several international trips to various countries such as Uganda, Brazil and Northern Ireland.

Bill earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in religion from the University of Sioux Falls in Sioux Falls, S.D., and a Master of Divinity degree from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, Calif. He has done post-graduate work at Oxford University in Oxford, England, and Western Evangelical Seminary in Portland, Ore. Bill and his wife, Ramona, have two sons, Ben and Matt.
