The Rev. Robert Henry came on staff at Huntington University in the fall of 2006. The main focus of Bob's ministry at Huntington is the Campus Ministry Coordinator program in which he oversees. He is currently an instructor several classes (University Life for freshmen, Capstone for seniors, Leadership for Resident Assistants and Campus Ministry Coordinators, and various J-term classes). Over the past ten years, Bob has served the body of Christ in many roles, from Youth Minister, Camp Program Coordinator, Worship Leader, Director of Christian Education to more recently Senior Pastor. He has been involved in planting a church in Michigan as well as serving a variety of denominations, including Lutheran, Anglican and Charismatic Episcopal. Bob was ordained an Anglican priest in 2000 and currently serves under the Anglican Rite Diocese of St. Augustine, Anglican Province in America. Bob is a member of Renovaré which is committed to working for the renewal of the Church of Jesus Christ in all her multifaceted expressions. He is also a part of the continuing "emergent conversation." Bob earned a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Education from Concordia University Chicago, and a Master of Arts degree in evangelism and spiritual formation from Wheaton College. While at Wheaton he received the Robert E. Coleman Award in Evangelism and Spiritual Formation. Bob and his wife, Sue, have three young boys, Alex, Samuel and Lewis. |
