News takes first place in iNRB contest

University’s HTV 22 News took first place in the 2007
Intercollegiate National Religious Broadcasters TV studio contest.
Under the direction of Dr. Lance Clark, associate professor of
communication, HTV 22 News is the student-produced weekly news
magazine covering local news, sports and weather. The award-winning

'Youniversity' campaign garners nine awards
Huntington
University’s “Youniversity” campaign won nine honors at the local
Advertising Federation of Fort Wayne ADDY® Awards show on
Feb. 17.
The ADDY®
Awards are a three-tiered, national competition sponsored by the
American Advertising Federation’s 200 member clubs and 15 districts
nationwide. Entrants compete at the local level, and winners advance
to the regional and then national competitions.

Forester
Lecture Series to feature filmmaker
Barbara
Nicolosi, founder and executive director of Act One, Inc., will be
featured in the Forester Lecture Series at 7 p.m. on March 13 in the
Zurcher Auditorium of the Merillat Centre for the Arts. She will
speak on the subject of Christian faith and the craft of filmmaking.

Alumnus named IEDC director
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. has named Mark A.
Wickersham, 1985 Huntington University graduate, as
director of its Northeast Regional Office in Fort Wayne.
Most recently, Wickersham served as relationship banker
and business development officer for MarkleBank in Fort
Wayne.

A feature story by Amy Berry, a senior public relations major from
Marion, Ind., was published in the Shippensburg (Pa.) Sentinel.
Berry profiled senior Matt Gerlach, a recreation management and
sports ministry major from Shippensburg. Gerlach is experiencing
