The Historydepartment of Covenant Collegeinvites applications for

a position in Modern European History. Theposition is available beginning

July 1, 2001. Ph.D. expected, thoughABD will be considered. Teaching area

will include European survey, electivesurveys, courses in the field of the

candidate, andsections of the core offering in twentieth century global

history. Preference will be given to those with competence in a secondary

field inancient and medieval history, history of political theory, or Latin

American history. Evidence ofteaching experience is preferred. Covenant

College is a Christian liberalarts college in the Reformed tradition and seeks

applicants who embracea Reformed world and life view and are committed
