Dr. Michael Rowley holds a Ph.D. in communication theory and research from Florida State University, where his studies focused on behavioral psychology, persuasion, public speaking, and research methods. He received his B.A. in public speaking and his M.A. in theory, persuasion, and public speaking from the University of Central Florida.

Dr. Kevin Miller joined the communication faculty in 2002, coming from Christianity Today magazine where he was associate editor and writer. His articles have also been published in Christian History, Your Church, Christian Reader, New Man, and Leadership Journal magazines.

Rebecca Green is metro reporter for the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette and teaches Advanced News Reporting for upper level journalism majors at Huntington University. Green attended Taylor University and graduated in 1999.

Adjunct Instructor in Public Speaking

Keith Reynolds teaches public speaking courses for Huntington University. He is director of young adult ministries spiritual formation at Fellowship Missionary Church in Fort Wayne, Ind. Reynolds was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from Elim Bible Institute in Lima, New York, with a major in Biblical Studies and from Southwestern Christian Seminary in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, with a Masters Degree in Christian Leadership.

Andre Laird, Huntington University, a Christian college

André Laird
Adjunct Professor of Communication

André B. Laird teaches the journalism practicum for Huntington University. He is a 2004 graduate of Huntington University with a B.A. in Broadcasting. He has experience in reporting, feature article writing, copy editing as well as extensive photography experience, both professionally and as a freelancer. He has also been a public relations consultant and creative media liaison for Life Church in Huntington and Little Is Much Ministries, a non-profit organization fighting human trafficking and sexual slavery.

Heather Barkley, APR, has served as the coordinator for graduate and adult program marketing at Huntington University since 2010. She formerly served as the marketing & web specialist for the university's EXCEL Adult Degree Programs from 2009-2010.
