Dr. Evelyn Priddy
Professor of Education

Dr. Priddy graduated from Huntington University with a degree in elementary education. She completed her doctoral degree in reading and elementary education at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. She taught at the elementary level for thirteen years and supervised the K-12 reading programs of a nearby school district for five years.  Dr. Priddy came to Huntington University in 1990 and teaches the reading, language arts and differentiated curriculum elementary methods courses.

She is a member of the Indiana State Reading Association and serves on the Board of Editors for the Indiana Reading Journal.  She participates in the Little Turtle Reading Council, the local chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International,  Horace Mann Elementary School Advisory Board,  Project Challenge Advisory Board, and the Education Committee for the Historic Forks of the Wabash.  Dr. Priddy is also Vice President of Huntington Metro Kiwanis Club.   She belongs to Trinity United Methodist Church and North Indiana Emmaus Community.
