Fall 2001
Sigma Tau Delta
is back
The English Department revived its chapter of Sigma Tau Delta—the English
Honor Society—with an induction ceremony on Dec. 2. Six students were
inducted into membership: Matt Ditzler, Tai Mauney, Ben Merchant, Jen
Stultz, Joe Urschel, and Lindsey Van Gelder.
Also, the chapter installed its new officers, Tai Mauney,
president; Jen Stults, vice president; and Ben Merchant, secretary.
Huntington College's chapter of Sigma Tau Delta was originally
established in 1993 but has been inactive for several years.
Dr. Todd Martin, the chapter sponsor, feels that the students
inducted and the new officers elected are exactly what is needed to lay a
firm foundation for the organization's lasting presence on the campus.
