Piloting Technology at Huntington University

Welcome to our site.  As the college's "pilot program" in technology, we thought it might be helpful to establish a place where faculty could discover resources, reflect on the use of technology in the classroom, and continue ongoing conversations about how computers and other new tools are making an impact on what we do as teachers and learners.

Further, as part of the initiative to advance an understanding of the use of technology, the college sponsored a conference, "Pen, Printing Press, Hypertext: The History and the Future of Educational Technology," which set out to explore educational technology writ large, ie. not just computers.  The conference invited essays that pondered the technology of teaching and learning past and present, in the classroom and out.  Keynote speakers included Sven Birkerts, Michael Joyce, and James J. O'Donnell.
