Matthias Austin (Jesus) is a junior theatre performance major from Wheaton, Illinois. He played Jesus in the 2007 summer tour of Godspell. Matthias has been seen on the HU stage as Oberon in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Professor Bhaer in Little Women: The Musical, Tom in The Glass Menagerie, Arthur Roeder in Radium Girls, Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors, the Royal Cricket Keeper in The Royal Cricket of Japan, and the Court Attorney in Trifles. In addition, he has been a member of the ensemble in Shakesperience! Matthias is a member of Alpha Psi Omega, the National Honorary Theatre Society.


 
Phil Black (Ensemble) is a sophomore theatre performance major from Fort Wayne, Indiana. He has been seen on the HU stage as Nick Bottom in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Berry/Martland in Radium Girls, and Knight in Little Women: The Musical. Phil is a pledge for Alpha Psi Omega.

 
Alicia Bonham (Ensemble) is a junior theatre performance major and film studies minor from Upland, Indiana. She played Gilmer/Herb in the 2007 summer tour of Godspell. She has been seen on the HU stage as Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Ms. Wiley/Mrs. Michaels in Radium Girls, Margaret Fletcher in I’m Not Stupid, Clarissa/Ensemble in Little Women: The Musical, the Royal Ant in The Royal Cricket of Japan, Meg MaGrath in Crimes of the Heart, and Della (understudy) in Gift of the Magi. She served as director for Gift of the Magi and assistant stage manager for Little Shop of Horrors. Alicia is a member of Alpha Psi Omega.

 
Nathan Capriglione (Lighting Engineer/Assistant Stage Manager/Assistant Technical Director) is a junior theatre design and technology major from Auburn, Indiana. For HU productions, he served as the master electrician for Little Women: The Musical, The Glass Menagerie, and Little Shop of Horrors. He was the props master for Crimes of the Heart and the flyman for The Royal Cricket of Japan. He has been seen on the HU stage as Theseus in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and in the One-Act Play Festival. Nathan is a pledge for Alpha Psi Omega.

 
Bethany Edlund (Ensemble) is a sophomore theatre performance and theatre design and technology double major from Roanoke, Indiana. She has been seen on the HU stage as Bev Davies in Graceland, Hippolyta in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Mrs. Kirk in Little Women: The Musical. She served as stage manager for Radium Girls and assistant stage manager for The Glass Menagerie. As a high school student, she played Miss Darbus in Disney’s High School Musical.

 
Andrew Edmonds (Technical Director/Stage Manager/Sound Engineer) is a junior theatre design and technology major from Beloit, Wisconsin. His roles in HU productions include sound engineer for the 2007 summer tour of Godspell, sound designer for A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Little Women: The Musical, and Broken Wings; master electrician for Radium Girls; props master for Little Shop of Horrors; assistant lighting designer for Crimes of the Heart; and technical director for The Royal Cricket of Japan.

 
Eric Geders (Ensemble) is a junior broadcasting major from Huntington, Indiana. He performed throughout high school as a singer/dancer in the highly regarded Huntington North Varsity Singers show choir. As a child, he sang the part of Amahl in Amahl and the Night Visitors and appeared in HU’s production of Fiddler on the Roof. He has performed in Charlie’s Aunt, The Wiz, and various improvisational skits. He is currently the radio station manager of HU’s WQHU FUSE FM where he is one of the creators of the Captain Bitter and the Bitter Boat radio series.

 
Patrick Harding (Band) is a senior music business major from Avilla, Indiana. His experience at HU includes his role as a musician for the summer 2007 tour of Godspell and in the pit orchestra for Little Women: The Musical and Wheels of a Dream. At HU, he has been a member of Joyful Noise, the Student Activities Board, Student Admissions Staff, and he has served as a worship leader at Good Shepherd Church. His past experience includes playing in the Godspell band for Gaslight Playhouse.

 
Lindsay Rae Hoops (Ensemble) is a sophomore theatre performance major from Fort Wayne, Indiana. She has been seen on the HU stage as Moth the Fairy in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. In the summer of 2007, she performed as a Milkmaid and Dancing Plate in the Fort Wayne Civic Theatre’s production of Beauty and the Beast. In high school, she played Aida in Aida, Jessie Mae Watts in Trip to Bountiful, and Higgin’s Servant in My Fair Lady.

 
Pat Irick (Music Director) is a freshman music education major from Huntington, Indiana. His HU credits include being a musician for the summer 2007 tour of Godspell and being the voice of Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors. He serves as a keyboardist and guitarist in the worship band at College Park United Brethren Church. In high school, he was a vocal member of the highly regarded Huntington North Varsity Singers show choir, a member of the Huntington North Varsity Chamber Singers, and the Huntington North concert band.

 
Kristen Lynne Kohaut (Ensemble/Dance Captain/Assistant Choreographer) is a 2008 theatre performance graduate from Mount Olive, New Jersey. During her time at HU, she was involved in the summer 2006 tour of Godspell as part of the ensemble, Crimes of the Heart as Babe, Little Shop of Horrors as Audrey, Radium Girls as Grace, The Glass Menagerie as Laura, Little Women: The Musical as Amy, 1940s Radio Hour as Ginger, The Curious Savage as Florence, Graceland as Rootie, Suppressed Desires as Henrietta, and in the ensembles of Shakesperience!, Pippin, and I, Faustus. She is a member of Alpha Psi Omega.

 
Peter Owens (John the Baptist/Judas) is a junior Bible and religion major with a religion studies concentration and a biblical languages minor from Indianapolis, Indiana. He was part of the ensemble cast for the 2007 summer tour of Godspell. On the HU stage, he has played Jim in The Glass Menagerie, Tom/Reporter/Chef/Salesman in Radium Girls, Ahpoo/Tumble in The Royal Cricket of Japan, and Harry in When God Comes for Breakfast. Peter is a pledge for Alpha Psi Omega.
 

 
Rebekah Posegate (Ensemble/Band) is a senior theatre performance major from Lake Villa, Illinois. She was part of the ensemble cast for the 2006 summer tour of Godspell. She has been seen on the HU stage as Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Aunt March in Little Women: The Musical, Pozzo in Waiting for Godot, Mrs. Hale in Trifles, and Bernarda in The House of Bernarda Alba. She also has served as director of Shakesperience! and Gift of the Magi as well as stage manager for Little Shop of Horrors. Rebekah is a member of Alpha Psi Omega.

 
Zechariah Reuter (Band) is a sophomore economics and finance major from South Whitley, Indiana. During the 2007-2008 academic year, he played drums for the worship band Preeminence at HU. In high school, he was part of the orchestras for Oklahoma! and The Sound of Music. In addition, he has played for worship teams of various churches for five years.
Ted Stavrou (Band) is a junior music business major from Greencastle, Pennsylvania. His experience at HU includes his role as a musician for the summer 2007 tour of Godspell and a member of the pit orchestra for Little Shop of Horrors. In high school, he was a cast member of Crazy for You and Oklahoma!

Joshua Ryan Dawes (Assistant Director/Company Manager) is a first-year graduate student at Louisiana State University studying acting. He is a 2006 graduate of HU with a Bachelor of Science degree in English education. He was part of the ensemble cast for the 2006 summer tour of Godspell. His other theatre credits include In the Beginning, The Miracle, Sure Thing: A Night of David Ives, Do Over, Oklahoma!, Cotton Patch Gospel, The Bald Soprano, Mister Roberts, Into the Woods, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Anna Karenina, Fiddler on the Roof, Brigadoon, Sonny DeRee’s Life Flashes Before His Eyes; I, Faustus; Escanaba in Da Moonlight; You Can’t Take It with You; Arsenic and Old Lace; and Mr. Periwinkle’s Christmas Party.
 

 
Brad DeYoung (Scenic and Lighting Designer) is a 2008 theatre design and technology graduate from Lansing, Illinois. He served as a technician for HU’s 2006 and 2007 summer tours of Godspell. At HU, he has been the technical director for A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Radium Girls, Crimes of the Heart, and I, Faustus; master electrician for The Compleat Works of Wm Shkspr Abridged and The Curious Savage; lighting designer for Little Women: The Musical; The Royal Cricket of Japan; Sure Thing; The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe; and The House of Bernarda Alba; scenic designer for A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Shakesperience! and Waiting for Godot; sound designer for 1940s Radio Hour; assistant scenic designer for Pippin; and assistant lighting designer for Little Shop of Horrors.
 
David Shamburger (Director) has worked professionally as both actor and director and has taught theatre at Middle Georgia College and University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Professor Shamburger has been a resident member of the Grandbury Opera House in Texas, the Horse Cave Repertory Theatre in Kentucky, Clinton Area Showboat Theatre (CAST) in Iowa, McLeod Summer Playhouse in Illinois, and Saint Michael’s Playhouse in Vermont. Professor Shamburger holds a Master of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he gained extensive training in classical acting, building on an already great interest in performing and teaching Shakespeare. At HU, he has directed A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Little Women: The Musical, Crimes of the Heart, Little Shop of Horrors, Pippin, Curious Savage, 1940s Radio Hour, and Shakesperience!
 

 
Kristi Shamburger (Choreographer) holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a Bachelor of Music degree from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio. Kristi has traveled and performed across the country working for such companies as Lyric Opera Cleveland, Skylight Opera Theatre, Cumberland County Playhouse, Carousel Dinner Theatre, The Barn Dinner Theatre, McLeod Summer Playhouse, Saint Michael's Playhouse, and Opryland U.S.A. Some of her favorite roles include Cleo in Most Happy Fella, Adelaide in Guys and Dolls, Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes and Constance in King John. She also performed in the Bellhop Review at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino. At HU she has been choreographer for Little Women: The Musical, Little Shop of Horrors, Pippin, 1940s Radio Hour; I, Faustus; and Shakesperience! She also served as director and scenic designer for Radium Girls and musical director for Little Shop of Horrors.
