graduate education program admission requirements
Courses are open to any currently licensed classroom teacher or
administrator. If you would like to begin taking courses, simply fill
out the one-page graduate application and registration form
and submit it with the $30 application fee to Huntington University's graduate school
(check should be made out to Huntington University). This application fee is waived for Huntington University alumni. The
Program is designed so that qualified candidates may enroll for any
classes being offered, except the Field Based Research Project, prior to
formal application for admission to the M.Ed. program.

you'd pay at some other universities. The tuition for the Master of
Education Program is comparable to or lower than for other graduate
programs in the area.

- Bachelor's Degree in education from a regionally accredited college/university - include official transcripts
(Degree in education not required for TESOL/EL candidates.)
- College GPA of 3.0
- Current teaching license or proof of licensable status (not required for TESOL/EL candidates)
- Evidence of two years successful teaching experience (e.g., evaluations) OR written essay on reasons for pursuing a Master's degree in education (2-3 pages)
- Recommendations (2) from a teaching colleague; a school, district, or corporation administrator; or college/university faculty members
