NACCAP
recognizes HC admissions staff FOR RELEASE June 12, 2001 Jeff Berggren, Dean of Enrollment, also received a Service Recognition Award after completing a three-year term as vice-president of NACCAP. Berggren has led the admissions efforts of Huntington College for the past eight years. Under his leadership, the school has seen an overall enrollment growth of 63%. Projections for fall 2001 also look promising. To date, the college has received a record number of applications, has accepted a record number of students, and has received a record number of deposits from students intending to enroll at Huntington in the fall. June 15 and 16 marks the annual registration weekend for these incoming students. The weekend provides an opportunity for freshmen and their parents to become more familiar with college life by spending a weekend on campus. Students meet peers, faculty, staff, and administrators and register for fall classes with an academic advisor. Several photo opportunities will be available during this event including the opening session and seminars held in the Merillat Centre for the Arts on June 15 from 6:30 p.m.-8:40 p.m. and the HC Olympic Games, also on June 15, held in the Merillat Center for Physical Education from 9:00 p.m.-10:30 p.m. # # # Huntington
