Book featuring Michelson article wins award FOR

This is the second time in three years that Dr. Michelson has been an author or co-author of a volume recognized by CHOICE. His study, Romanian Politics, 1859-1871, was named an Outstanding Academic Book for 1998. Michelson joined the faculty of Huntington College in 1974. He holds a Ph.D. in history from Indiana University, and specializes in East European and Soviet history with a particular expertise in Romanian history and culture. He has been a three time senior Fulbright scholar in Romania, has published widely, has traveled extensively, and is frequent consultant to numerous agencies, including government bodies, on Romanian and East European affairs. Michelson serves as a member and secretary of the National Board of the Society for Romanian Studies, and is editor of the SRS Newsletter. He is co-editor of the newsletter of the Conference on Faith and History. # # #
