HC's Who’s Who recipients named

HUNTINGTON, IN— Sixteen students from Huntington College have been selected as national campus leaders and will be featured in the next edition of Who’s Who among American Universities and Colleges.  Campus nominating committees and editors of the annual directory have included the names of these students based on their academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential for continued success. 

Huntington College students recognized in Who’s Who Among American Universities and Colleges include:

• Megan Ackerson, a senior English education major.  She is the daughter of Ben and Janet Ackerson of Three Oaks, Michigan.
• Mindy Adams, a senior chemistry major.  She is the daughter of Steven and Judith Adams of Huntington, Indiana.
• Sharon Conner, a senior sociology major.  She is the daughter of David and Sharon Pfister of Fort Wayne, Indiana and the wife of Brad Connor of  Sharpesville, Indiana.
• Molly Deuberry, a senior history major.  She is the daughter of Jeffrey and Mary Deuberry of Chesterton, Indiana.
• Sarah Hays, a senior educational ministry major.  She is the daughter of George and Susan Hays of Alliance, Ohio.
• Amanda Jensen, a senior music major with a concentration in contemporary church music.  She is the daughter of Theodore and Rochelle Jensen of Blissfield, Michigan.
• Jerry Kaufman, a youth ministry major.  He is the son of Jerrold and Laura Kaufman of Dyer, Indiana.
• Sarah Lightcap, a senior psychology major.  She is the daughter of Donald and Vicki Lightcap of Woodburn, Indiana.
• Kari Riggs, a senior chemistry major.  She is the daughter of Glenn and Tona Riggs of Wabash, Indiana.
• Janelle Simpson, a senior psychology major.  She is the daughter of Karen Iseminger of Westfield, Indiana and Bill Simpson of Nashville, Tennessee.
• Amy Smith, a senior history major. She is the daughter of Brent and Diane Smith of Howe, Indiana.
• Scott Sommers, a senior biology major.  He is the son of Bob and Karen Sommers of Uniondale, Indiana.
• John Warden, a senior communication/ theatre major.  He is the son of John and Roseann Warden of Mainville, Ohio.
• Cameron Warner, a senior history and social studies education major.  He is the son of Richard and Joy Warner from Bluffton, Ohio.
• Mike Webb, a senior educational ministry major.  He is the son of Dr. William and Sandra Webb of Huntington, Indiana and the husband of Heather Boyer of Wilmington, Ohio.
• Mike Yates, a senior history and social studies education major.  He is the son of Dale and Dalene Yates of North Vernon, Indiana.
