Ten Foresters inducted into Athletic Honor Society
Huntington College student-athletes continue strong academic reputation

Jacob Miles will be inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma, the Athletic Honor Society.HUNTINGTON, IN—Huntington College’s Chi Alpha Sigma, the National College Athlete Honor Society, will have its sixth induction ceremony on Sunday, April 21 at 3 p.m., in the Habecker Dining Commons. Ten Forester athletes will join the 45 members since 1997.

Induction into Chi Alpha Sigma requires a student-athlete to achieve at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average, earn a varsity letter, be a junior or senior in academic standing, and be of high moral character. Members of this honor society represent the finest student-athletes on Huntington College’s campus.

“We are blessed to have such outstanding young men and women participating in athletics here at Huntington College,” said HC athletic director and head men’s and women’s tennis coach, Gary Turner. “It is evident in their everyday lives that they possess integrity, character and high academic achievement. They are outstanding representatives of Jesus Christ, Huntington College and the Huntington community.”

The Huntington College Foresters compete in 14 intercollegiate sports for men and women. In the past six years HC has produced 33 All-Americans and 54 All-America Scholar Athletes.
